Manage login with SSO

This guide will show you what you need to do to set up Single Sign On (SSO) login to AmpliFlow.

SSO login to AmpliFlow means that the Microsoft login is also used to log in to AmpliFlow so employees don't have to log in to AmpliFlow separately - if you're signed in to Teams, for example, you don't have to log in to AmpliFlow as well and don't have to manage separate login credentials. This provides a more seamless experience of AmpliFlow.

Administrator privileges are required in both Microsoft 365 and AmpliFlow to perform the different steps — please do not hesitate to contact our support if you need help performing the steps below.

Pair your Microsoft Entry ID (Azure AD) with AmpliFlow

1. Get your Client Organization ID

The first step is to find out which organization ID you have so that your AmpliFlow tenant connects to the correct Microsoft 365 environment.

The Client Organization ID (Tenant ID) can be found in Microsoft Entra > Properties.

  1. Open Microsoft Entra admin center (https://entra.microsoft.com/)
  2. Select Overview
  3. Select the Properties tab
  4. You can find the organization id under Client Organization ID (Tenant ID) - copy this. It is quite long and consists of a mixture of letters, numbers and hyphens

2. Enter your Client Organization ID in AmpliFlow

The next step is to enter your client organization ID in the AmpliFlow settings so that AmpliFlow “talks” to the correct organization.

  1. Log in to AmpliFlow (https://[tenant].ampliflow.com)
  2. Select "Settings" in the menu, under "Administrator"
  3. Switch to tab "IT & Dev"
  4. Enable Single Sign On (SSO)
  5. Enter your Client Organization ID in the box for Entra Tenant ID
  6. Choose whether new users should be created automatically at first login via SSO, if they are missing in AmpliFlow

3. Install AmpliFlow app in Microsoft Entra

The final step is to install the AmpliFlow app in Microsoft Entra (formerly Azure AD) and give the app access to the necessary user data. This step also needs to be performed by an administrator.

  1. Go to AmpliFlow login page (https://[tenant].ampliflow.com/login)
  2. Click “Sign in with Microsoft”
  3. Check the box “Consent on behalf of your organization” and select Accept
  4. The AmpliFlow app installs and users can now select “Sign in with Microsoft” for easy and smooth sign-in
